Notes
Double recipe for a family of 6.
The flavor of this rice was delicious! I followed the instructions exactly, but mine came out extremely overcooked and mushy. Not sure if it’s because I have a convection oven or because I used a cast iron/ceramic Dutch oven or maybe both? I will definitely try it again and check it after 35 minutes.
So good! Tho I admit I couldn’t bear to put in a whole stick of butter. So I used half a stick. Still great, and as long as i don’t have the real thing to compare it to, I won’t know what I’m missing. 😉 Thanks for adding this!
I made this rice since my family is switching over to brown rice. They are all on a health kick. Anyway, they liked this rice so much. It was soft and fluffy which was good for me (not to mention the butter), and they get their brown rice.
The best baked rice I have eve had.Its the only one my husband eats.
