Equipment

  • 1 9x13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup pureed pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp all spice

Topping

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan.
  • Cream butter and sugars together for approximately 8 minutes.
  • Add pureed pumpkin, water, and vanilla until mixed together.
  • Add flour, cinnamon, cream of tartar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and all spice. Mix until combined.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan and cook for 20-25 minutes.
