Slow Cooker Ham and Bean Soup

Feel free to use a combination of your favorite beans or a bag of 10 bean soup or 15 bean soup.

Slow Cooker Ham & Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mix of your favorite dried beans
  • 2 cups diced ham steak
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning (with salt)
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  • Soak the dried beans overnight in cold water. Drain and rinse in the morning.
  • Place all ingredients into a large crock pot and cover with water. About 6 cups.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Discard bay leaves.
    Season to taste with more salt and pepper if you need it!
