Slow Cooker Steak & Vegetable Soup

This hot and hearty soup mimics a beef stew but with a lot less hands on time. Enjoy with some crusty bread.

  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 bag frozen veggie mix
  • 28 oz beef broth


  • Season the beef with salt, pepper, chili powder, and sprinkle flour all over. Mix.
  • Brown the beef in a skillet with the oil until seared.
  • Place all ingredients, including seared beef, into the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
